KUAF broke ground Tuesday at it’s future location, 9 S. School St., right across the street from the Fayetteville public library. The new building will have more than seven thousand square feet of space and even a performance studio. “It actually started as a ten watt station and now we’re 100,000 watts and moving into a new facility sometime in the next year and all with listener support so it’s very very important,” says Rick Stockdell, KUAF General Manager. KUAF is still in the process of raising the $1.5 million needed for the building. Around $900,000 has been raised so far with listener support.
